Information we collect
We collect the information needed to create and operate your account, such as your name, email address, authentication provider details, workspace settings, integrations you connect, and product usage events needed to provide the service.
If you upload, record, or import meeting content, Clariex may process recordings, transcripts, generated notes, action items, and related metadata so the app can transcribe meetings, generate summaries, and run the workflows you configure.
Google account and Calendar data
When you sign in with Google, we request basic identity information such as your email address, profile, and OpenID identifier so we can authenticate you and maintain your account.
If you connect Google Calendar features, we request read-only calendar scopes so Clariex can show calendar context, detect upcoming meetings, subscribe to calendar changes, and help prepare meeting capture workflows. We do not request permission to create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events.
Clariex's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Clariex, authenticate users, connect requested integrations, process meeting recordings and transcripts, generate notes and action items, operate automations, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and communicate service-related updates.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to information to the people and systems that need it.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Clariex, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account or connected integration data.
Your choices
You can disconnect Google and other integrations from the app settings. You can also revoke Clariex's Google access from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access may disable features that depend on Google Calendar or Google sign-in data.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate.
